BOGOTÁ
Ten photographs
The city that opened my eyes to the world. I arrived in Bogotá carrying the warmth of the Caribbean, and found a city where the mountains seemed to hold the sky in place. Its cold mornings woke more than my body: they stirred a hunger for everything I had yet to know. Beneath those restless clouds, streets unfolded like pages, strangers became possibilities, and even the rain appeared to have something to teach me. Years later, I return with a camera to the rooftops, the painted walls, the light that slips between buildings. Somewhere among them, the young man I was is still looking up, astonished at how wide the world can be.
